well i had to read it twice
but only coz i'm slow and sleepy
i think the killing of her represents the end of their relationship
both people feel pain but the person hopes that each of them can move on and the blood on his jacket symbolises the memories? maybe .. i think blood stains and so if it cant get washed away it'll mean he'll always remember
and that paragraph proves i'v done wayyyy too much analysing in my english lessons
